The Legend of the Blair Witch began in 1785 with Elly Kedward who immigrated over to the town known as Blair (United States) from Ireland.
The Blair citizens found out that she was luring the children into her house and drawing blood from them, so she was conviced of performing witchcraft. After she was conviced she was banished to the woods. By the end of that winter most of the children of Blair suddenly disappeared. The townspeople blamed the witch and proclaimed the township of Blair and the Black Woods as cursed.The Blair Witch symbol is a five-pointed compound symbol. Its center trianglre is pointing down. The five lines resemble the microcosmic man with arms and legs outstretched inside a circle (with a pentagram in the background)-- a magic symbol or charm among medieval alchemists and wizards. Also, it might have been a a magic symbol among medieval alchemists and wizards.
